Description
Clean agent suppression systems are fire suppression systems that use non-toxic, electrically non-conductive gases or chemicals to extinguish fires without damaging sensitive equipment or leaving residue. Unlike traditional water-based systems, clean agents are designed to suppress fires quickly by interrupting the chemical reactions within the fire, without harming the environment or the items they protect. Common clean agents include carbon dioxide (CO2), FM-200, and Novec 1230, among others.
